Think in layers, movement, and tone. Editorial sessions are best styled with minimal palettes, rich textures, and silhouettes that photograph well in natural light. A refined wardrobe doesn’t need to be elaborate—it just needs to feel like you, elevated. I also am a fan of the flashy couple just as much as the cozy couple style. Bring on the glitz and glam. I love silks, sparkles, sequins just as much as the tailored look. It all works when it comes to my style of editing. What matters most is what you feel good wearing. All I ask is we stay away from trends and go with something that truly feels like you.
What should be worn for a session?
Yes—often and happily. Whether it’s California, New York, or somewhere quieter, I love photographing in both familiar and foreign spaces.
Do you travel?
I typically book 2–6 months in advance for portraits, and 8–12 months for weddings. However, I always welcome last-minute magic when possible.
